This is from a show in our last European tour in the 'before times', from 2019. It was the middle of a tour, which is usually a good time to catch us. We are warmed up and ready to play. I really enjoyed listening to the tracks. It was really a pleasant surprise.

It was a blast from another era. We had no idea what was gonna happen in a couple months. You can hear that we were working towards a new album. There are a bunch of 'new' tunes at the time that are in the set. We were just starting to feel out new sounds. Trying to figure out what was the next thing. Makes me wonder what the next album would have sounded like if covid didnt come along.

Regardless, this is a strong set. The only sonic thing I will ask your forgiveness for is that I played the saxophone solo for I'd Rather Die Happy off the mic, so its a bit quiet in the mix.

Big shout out to Marc Critelli who recorded this and did such a good job making us sound good. Thanks buddy.

I decided the band I'm most looking forwards to seeing once normality returns would be The Aggrolites. Their sold out gig I caught of theirs at the Echoplex a few years ago was such a fun highlight of my live music experiences, so you can imagine how happy I was to discover they had put out this live recording.
